[한국일보=김한나 기자] BIGBANG’s special exhibition will be held in Beijing, China.
BIGBANG’s 10-year anniversary special, ‘BIGBANG10 THE EXHIBITION A TO Z’ will be held in Beijing, China for a total of 11 weeks from December 7 until February 24. It is their third exhibition overseas.
The exhibition in Beijing will be a good opportunity to feel BIGBANG fully, since the members are currently absent due to serving military duties. The exhibition also contains a space decorated with a FLOWER ROAD, like the title of the single BIGBANG released before the members’ enlistments.
There will be perfectly directed new spaces, participation by upcoming and famous painting artists, BIGBANG MADE movie premiere, and GLORY (a minimalism concept space reinterpreted and inspired by the MV for ‘BAE BAE’) which differentiates from their last exhibition in Shanghai.
There will also be unreleased interviews and behind-the-scenes videos of BIGBANG that were not revealed through prior exhibitions, reconstructed only for the fans of Beijing.
The 5 members of BIGBANG selected 26 letters from A to Z for the ‘BIGBANG10 THE EXHIBITION A TO Z’.
The letters represent various meanings and viewpoints of BIGBANG. ‘V’ stands for ‘VIP’, the official fan club, while ‘Y’ stands for ‘YOU’, which indicates their feelings towards the fans.
The fans who like BIGBANG can witness their past to present, and even the future through the exhibition.
Following their exhibition in Beijing, there will be additional cities of China added on to the schedule in addition to other foreign cities outside of China.
With the enlistment of T.O.P, 4 members of BIGBANG including G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG are serving military duties.
The song ‘FLOWER ROAD’ released after the members’ enlistments on March achieved an ‘all-kill’ on music charts, proving BIGBANG’s influential power.
SEUNGRI is currently active in and out of Korea while filling the members’ gaps due their vacancies. He will create special memories with the fans next year on February through his solo concert in Seoul.
