BIGBANG Talk About Their Musical Inspirations In GQ Magazine

All five BIGBANG members are featured in the August issue of GQ. In the pictorial, the artists mainly modeled winter wear and androgynous combinations by Gucci, Bottega Veneta, and Kim Seoryong Homme, to name a few brands.
During the interview, G-Dragon discussed how he keeps himself inspired and finds new sounds to explore in each album. He stated, “It’s not that I’m sick of music, but I need new stimulation. When you meet people of your unfamiliar field, you start talking about a lot of things. At first, I needed the experience itself but then I realized that I can achieve something more than that.”
The star continued, “I’m not looking for a super famous name or anything. I think that everyone that has pride in their work should be called artists. Wherever you go, there are infinitely many experts like the stars. I learn from them and become humbled. Above all, my judgment on what is good becomes more solid.”
Meanwhile, Taeyang revealed what new artists have caught his attention. He said, “I actually listen to a lot of non-mainstream music. I enjoy watching those songs go mainstream as well. Also, I was kind of surprised when I saw FKA Twigs’s visual work.”

BigBang kicked off two-night concert with a Bang!
KUALA LUMPUR: More than 16,000 strong fans gathered at Putra Indoor Stadium Bukit Jalil tonight to meet South Korea's famous K-Pop group, BigBang, who is in town for their two-night concert here.
Dubbed BIGBANG 2015 World Tour [Made] In Malaysia, Malaysia is the group's sixth stop after South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. The group appeared on stage at 9pm much to their fans excitement, who had gathered as early 3pm for the concert which kicked-off tonight.
Screams and rupturous cheers echoed throughout the venue as the group, which comprises five members - G Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri entertained the fans with various hits including Bad Boy, Bang Bang Bang, Loser and Fantastic Baby, in the two-hour concert.
"It's good to be back in Kuala Lumpur. This country is one of our favourite countries in the world, " said Taeyang, before performing the group's latest hit, Bae Bae. BigBang first performed in the country in 2012. The concert is part of the group's Asian leg of the Made tour, which is held in conjunction with the release of BigBang's new studio album of the same name, set to release in Sept this year. The group's other stops in the region include the Philippines, Indonesia and Japan.

BIGBANG’s T.O.P Teases With a Photo of GD&TOP
BIGBANG’s T.O.P shared a photo from what appears to be the music video location for the upcoming GD&TOP song.
On July 25, T.O.P uploaded a picture of himself with G-Dragon on his Instagram account.
In the photo, both singers can be seen wearing stylish yet formal clothing. T.O.P dons black sunglasses while sitting. As for G-Dragon, he has on an animal print blazer and holds onto a guitar as he poses.
Meanwhile, GD&TOP last released an album as a sub-unit in December 2010. Many fans are excited to ir comeback in 5 years. Their upcoming song will be released on August 5.

BIGBANG To Unveil 'Dope' With Fans Through Live Broadcasting App
BIGBANG will meet with their fans through Naver's real-time broadcasting app, V app. Fans will be able to meet with top K-pop artists through the app, and BIGBANG will make an appearance on August 4.
BIGBANG's 'MADE' series singles have been shaking the music world since May. The group has been releasing a new single on the first of each month. However, BIGBANG revealed their plan to release their last single "E" on August 5 and the news stirred curiosity among fans who have been waiting for the release of "E" for a long time.
"BIGBANG will return to Korea early August from their world tour, and the members expressed their desire to meet with their fans on August 4 before releasing the new single," explained YG Entertainment.
YG Entertainment also released a teaser image of "E" on July 24 and received hot responses. The image shows BIGBANG's subunit GD & T.O.P along with the phrase "Dope." As it has been 5 long years since the subunit released their last track "High High," anticipation is rising for the relase of "Dope."
BIGBANG is currently on world tour and will meet with their fans in Malaysia on July 25.

[Exclusive] YANG Approves GD&T.O.P’s “FANTASTIC” At Once: Traditional Hip-Hop
[OSEN=??? ??] GD and T.O.P will be setting off the fourth dynamite of BIGBANG. Regaining their initial passion, the two will be showcasing traditional hip-hop. YG Entertainment’s head YANG HYUN SUK, known for his picky taste, apparently approved the song in an instance.
According to what the production-related personnel of GD and T.O.P’s new song “FANTASTIC”’s music video said on July 24, the duo’s new song to be unveiled on August 5 as part of the MADE album project was produced based on the mutual motivation of GD and T.O.P, to regain their original passion for hip-hop. It is indeed traditional hip-hop. The personnel held back on giving further explanation, but the two is expected to showcase some incredible synergy.
On personnel said, “The title ‘FANTASTIC’ carries that belief. When Mr. YANG heard the song, he instantly told them to start working on it.”
YG Entertainment attracted much attention by posting a teaser image of GD and T.O.P’s new song as a poster on its official blog, YG LIFE. The image features the back of the two with the title “FANTASTIC” and the release date August 5 written on it.
BIGBANG is doing well with their MADE album since May. Their first one “M” in May consisted of “LOSER” and “BAE BAE,” sweeping across all charts and music programs.
In June the album “A” included “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”, once again topping all charts and programs. The July singles of “IF YOU” and “SOBER” for album “D” were another huge hit, with two very different ambiences, one sorrowful and one chipper like summer.
In August, the fourth single “E” will be of GD and T.O.P as a unit, showcasing another charm of BIGBANG. It is building expectations since people already know GD and T.O.P’s synergy as rappers will be incredible. The two released their first full album “HIGH HIGH” in December 2010 and garnered much popularity back then. Fans are already very excited to two as a unit once again after five years.
GD and T.O.P in the meantime will be meeting with their international fans through top star private channel “V” app on August 4. BIGBANG is in the middle of their World Tour and will be in Malaysia to perform on July 25.

New Details About GD&TOP’s Upcoming Song Revealed
After revealing that GD&TOP will be releasing a new song as a part of BIGBANG’s “MADE Series – E,” there has been great anticipation surrounding the sub-unit.
YG Entertainment has revealed that the song will feature a more authentic and traditional hip hop style. Yang Hyun Suk, who is known to be strict and picky, actually approved the song immediately.
An inside source stated, “After hearing the title and song, Yang Hyun Suk instantly approved on getting work started for it.” The CEO’s quick approval is making fans even more excited about the upcoming song.
GD&TOP’s new music video will be released on August 5. Meanwhile, BIGBANG is currently on a world tour and will be performing in Malaysia on July 25.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon Says He Regrets Complimenting Seungri’s Singing on “Infinity Challenge”
BIGBANG‘s Seungri recently posted a screenshot on his Twitter of a netizen survey which had asked voters “Who is the best maknae idol who is loved by his hyungs?” Out of over 55,000 responses, Seungri took the top spot in the poll with 40.5% of votes. He was followed by SHINee‘s Taemin, EXO‘s Sehun, BEAST‘s Dongwoon, and Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun.
Seungri added the caption, “That’s right, I’m loved^^” and as his hashtag he wrote, “Our Seungri is good.”
His hashtag is a reference to fellow BIGBANG member G-Dragon’s recent comments on July 18's episode of “Infinity Challenge,” when Kwanghee claimed that he was capable of singing Seungri’s parts in BIGBANG songs. In the scene, G-Dragon responded by laughing and insisting several times “Our Seungri is a good singer, “and “Our Seungri is good.”
G-Dragon has since responded to Seungri’s tweet by simply replying, “I shouldn’t have said that.”
It seems like maknae Seungri might never let G-Dragon live those compliments down!

YG Explains Why GD&TOP’s “MADE Series – E” Single Drops on August 5
YG Entertainment recently announced that one of the newest additions to BIGBANG‘s “MADE” series will be a track by the group’s sub-unit GD&TOP.
All previous songs in the “MADE” series, which are set to be released as a full album in September, have been dropped on the first day of the month. However, this time around GD&TOP’s new track will be put out on August 5. YG Entertainment has also confirmed that the “MADE Series – E” single album will also include a song by the whole group.
As fans have been curious as to why the release is delayed for the August single, YG Entertainment has released a statement that explains their decision.
“BIGBANG will be returning to Korea in the beginning of August from their world tour,” says a representative of YG Entertainment. “They plan to communicate with their global fans directly through a live broadcast on ‘V‘ app on August 4, the day before their comeback.”
“The members can’t appear on shows very often, so they say that they need to ensure that they have even a bit of time to meet with their fans,” the representative adds. “They will take just a day’s rest and then do the ‘V’ app live broadcast.”
BIGBANG is currently on their 2015 world tour “MADE,” which will be stopping in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 1. After their live broadcast on August 4, their next tour stop is Shenzhen, China on August 7.

BIGBANG Change Things Up For August 'MADE' Series Release With Return Of Project Duo GD&TOP
As if dominating music charts for three months wasn't enough, BIGBANG just announced another reason for K-pop fans to get excited.
The fourth release from BIGBANG's month-long "MADE" project will include a song from BIGBANG's subunit, GD&TOP. The hip hop duo, comprised of BIGBANG members G-Dragon and T.O.P, hasn't released music together since 2010.
GD&TOP's song will be the first song unveiled in the August single "E" from BIGBANG.
YG Entertainment confirmed news reports of subunit members G-Dragon and T.O.P filming a music video for the song. The pair are BIGBANG's rappers, and collaborated on released three singles and an album in 2010. The album, "GD&TOP" became one of the best selling albums of 2010 in South Korea.
The pair's first song, "HIGH HIGH" marked a departure from BIGBANG's quintessential five-member lineup for the first time. Since then, BIGBANG introduced as second subgroup, GD X TAEYANG, in 2014, with the song "Good Boy."
The news relating to "E" reveals that BIGBANG will change things up for their August release.
BIGBANG's "MADE" project began in May, with the release of two singles under the name of "M." The consecutive "A" and "D" releases by BIGBANG followed in June and July, and August will see additional releases under the "E" title.
GD&TOP's new song will be released on August 5.

BIGBANG has been releasing a single of their comeback series from May on the 1 of every month. However, for this August, the date is the 5 of the month. The reason behind that is because BIGBANG is now out of Korea for their world tour and August 1 is Saturday.
YG Entertainment explains, “Every new release of ‘MADE’ series has been live-broadcasted for countdown with fans. However, August 1 is Saturday and the members will be doing world tour at that time. So we inevitably changed the date.” So, the reason behind the changed date is because BIGBANG members wanted to count-down the new release with fans.
For “E” album, not all the team members but G-DRAGON and T.O.P will release a new song. It is the first time for the two to perform as a unit team in five years since 2010. Fans’ expectations are rising for the synergy to be created by the two.
BIGBANG has been sweeping the No.1 on music charts from May 1 this year, with their comeback project “MADE” series. “M”’s “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” dominated top places on charts for a long time and “A”’s “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” followed the footsteps to gain a big success. Taeyang Gives Park Myung Soo Affectionate Smooch and Hug
Taeyang and Park Myung Soo show off their close relationship in a new snapshot.
On July 24, Park Myung Soo uploaded a photo of the pair together and wrote, “My sun^^?,” along with hashtags for Taeyang, BIGBANG, my younger sibling, eyes, nose, and lips.
In the photo, the BIGBANG member is seen affectionately hugging the comedian from behind while kissing his head. Park Myung Soo looks very happy and smiles brightly.
Meanwhile, the duo is currently appearing on MBC’s “Infinity Challenge” for the “Infinity Challenge Music Festival 2015.” Park Myung Soo is working with singer IU while Taeyang and G-Dragon are paired with Kwanghee.

GD&TOP share a very private moment with fans for “E” series release in image teaser
As promised, BIGBANG unit GD&TOP is returning with a new track after five years!
On July 24th, the duo released the first image teaser poster for the upcoming single E from the MADE album series and featured T.O.P and G-Dragon with their backs towards the camera and are seemingly using a urinal in a dark lit bathroom.
Though past releases have usually been made available on the 1st of every month, GD&TOP’s “??,” which can be translated literally to “Freaking Awesome” or better translated as “Dope,” will be dropped on August 5th.

Of course, there still is a high possibility that a new song of all the BIGBANG members will also be unveiled in August.

G-DRAGON and T.O.P are BIGBANG’s leading rappers and the unit drew a big popularity with “HIGH HIGH” released in their first full-length album in December, 2010. So fans are paying keen attention to what new song and performance the unit will present this time.

GD&TOP to Make a Comeback With New Track in “MADE” Series E!
According to an exclusive report by Star News, the August release of BIGBANG’s comeback project “MADE” will be a little different from the previous months’ releases. Instead of a full group release, BIGBANG’s sub-unit GD & TOP will be returning with a new track for the first time in four years!
Starting in May, BIGBANG dropped a series of new tracks on the first of every month to complete the final “MADE” album, which will be released in September with the addition of another brand new track.
Each part of the MADE series has contained two songs thus far. In August, BIGBANG will be coming out with the ‘E’ series, which will include GD&TOP’s new song.
According to industry insiders on July 23, G-Dragon and T.O.P are currently filming for the music video of their unit track. This is their first project together since the release of “High High” in December of 2010.
