Daesung Holds Solo Tour Finale in Hawaii, Captivating 90,000 Fans

Daesung’s solo hall tour finally came to a close after 5 months.

Starting in Japan from August last year, Daesung has completed his longest and biggest solo tour where he met 90,700 fans through 41 shows in 19 cities.

Daesung held his final “D-na Show Vol. 1” shows in Hawaii on January 6 and 7 among local fans and fans who flew all the way from Japan, Korea, and more.

Daesung captivated the audience through his addictive vocal and performed his solo hit songs Look at Me, Gwisoon, Wings, D-Day, and Venus, and new songs A-Ze-Cho, and No, It Isn’t Like That.

In addition to the special live performances, Daesung’s brilliant unscripted talk and unique humor elicited positive response from the audience. The show, which never had a dull moment, had a running time of two and a half hours.

Daesung expressed his appreciation saying “When this tour started, it felt like the final show was far into the future, but here we are today with the last one. I made it all the way here all thanks to you.”

At the end of the show, a video was played on screen with photos from Daesung’s Japanese solo activities, messages from fans, letters from his family, and more.

Left speechless for a while, he said, looking moved “For supporting me, for making me a happy singer, and for creating the best memories with me today, thank you.”

BIGBANG held concerts in Seoul at the end of last year to say goodbye to their fans temporarily, while Daesung continued with his solo activities.
