SEUNGRI, “My Rank Went Up in YG… I Should Repay the Wholehearted Support”

[헤럴드POP=고승아 기자] Group BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI revealed that his rank within YG Entertainment went up. 

On July 29 at M CUBE located in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, SEUNGRI held a press conference to celebrate the release of his first solo album ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI’. 

When someone mentioned that ‘YG seems to be wholeheartedly supporting SEUNGRI this time’, he answered, “My rank actually went up in YG. I was always left behind. G-DRAGON was always the highest, but he’s vacant. My ranks went up”. 

He continued, “People were wondering when I tried and challenged. The president had doubt when I told him that I’m starting a business, but he started trusting me after seeing me make things happen. He later took over a DJ label I personally established, and I became the representative for a subsidiary company of YG. I think I earned his trust”. 

He added, “As the member of BIGBANG, YG’s oldest and representative group, I should repay YG’s wholehearted support with great results. I will stay proud, focused, and create the best product I can”. 

Meanwhile, SEUNGRI will release ‘1, 2, 3!’ today, at 6 PM.
