As a new fashion month sets sail, we’re looking to the industry’s newest front-row favourites: K-Pop stars. Whether they are stealing the spotlight at shows or flaunting serious sartorial dexterity on the red carpet, their outfits alone prove why they’re now the talk of the fashion crowd.

While the ‘BANG BANG BANG’ video takes you on somewhat of an overwhelming visual journey, BIGBANG’s ‘Loser’ music video is somewhat more demure. Again, each member rocks their own style – G-Dragon and Seungri rocking preppy looks,TOP in a military style navy suit, Taeyang in a silk embroidered bomber jacket and Daesung in a casual camo jacket. The group shots however are the highlights of the video where their embroidered jackets and black trouser ensembles look almost as if they have just come off the Saint Laurent AW18 catwalk. Music videos are arguably the most important factor in promoting an album and gathering a fan base for these artists and BIGBANG’s ‘BANG BANG BANG’ music video is four minutes of high fashion and pure visual ecstasy. From G-Dragon’s red tight leather trousers and sparkly red oversized jacket ensemble particularly stands out and oh how we envy that he can pull off such a look. G-Dragon – lead singer of K-Pop band, BIGBANG, friend and muse to Karl Lagerfeld and Chanel ambassador – has always been known for his eccentric, bold and statement-making style. But his presence at the Chanel spring/summer 2018 show caused more discussion than usual. Donning an astronaut blouse from the autumn/winter 2017 collection, a black boucle sweater, paint-splattered Dr. Martens, a colourful patched over-the-shoulder bag that all came together with his bright red hair, G-Dragon proves that his style evolution is on a sharp incline.
