BIGBANG’s 'LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE' is the most-viewed K-Pop M/V in America and worldwide in August, according to Billboard

The music video of BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” has been selected as the most-viewed K-pop music video in the United States and the world during August. 

Recently, American Billboard said, “The last album ‘E’ of BIGBANG’s ‘MADE’ series marked the grand finale. In terms of the number of views on YouTube, the video of BIGBANG’s ‘LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE’ was selected as the most-viewed K-pop music video in American and around the world during August, 2015”. 

Along with the music video of BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, the video of GD&T.O.P’s “ZUTTER” released on the 5 last month took the second place on the list of the most-viewed K-pop music videos, showing BIGBANG’s global influence once again. 

“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” and “ZUTTER” released on August 5 at 0 o’clock drew big popularity, dominating real-time, daily, and weekly charts in Korea upon their release. Plus, album “E” that includes the two songs took the No.1 on the iTunes chart of 16 countries including Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia, and the fourth place in America and the second place in Canada, proving their global popularity again. 

Notably, “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” also took the No.1 on Gaon’s monthly digital chart unveiled on the 10 this month. That made BIGBANG set an unprecedented record, the No.1 on Gaon’s monthly chart for four consecutive months beginning from “LOSER”. 

Meanwhile, the music video of “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” that depicts the pure and tender romance of the BIGBANG members recorded 25,740,000 views on YouTube as of the 21 in the morning, drawing a big popularity among fans from in and out of the country. 

BIGBANG who is now taking some time for rest to prepare for their full-length album after the release of four singles in “MADE SEIRES”, has met with their fans in V-APP personal broadcasting on every Wednesday during September. SEUNGRI and DAESUNG will meet fans in the personal broadcasting on the 23 and 30, respectively. BIGBANG will continue with their world tour in Taiwan from the 24 this month.

BIGBANG Most Viewed K-Pop Videos in America & Around the World: August 2015

The last two music videos of BIGBANG's four-EP, seven-video "Made" series end on a high note as they're crowned the most-viewed K-pop vids on YouTube last month. They beat out competition from other international acts Girls' Generationand Wonder Girls, with the three groups' new visuals earning top rankings around the world and in the U.S for August.

BIGBANG's "Let's Not Fall in Love," revealed on Aug. 4, takes top honors for August's most-viewed K-pop video in America and around the world, according to YouTube. The band's other August music video, "Zutter" performed by members G-Dragon and T.O.P, takes second in both rankings too. 

Girls' Generation also unleashed a pair of visuals with "Lion Heart" and "You Think" -- both ranking in the top five of both lists, with the former landing at No. 3 on both and "You Think" placing in fourth in America, but fifth internationally. Wonder Girls' comeback single "I Feel You" snuck into the international tally at No. 4, while ranking fifth in America.

The rankings remain mostly the same otherwise this month. The latest from SHINee, HyunA and T-ara all rank Nos. 6-8, respectively. The differences come towards the end when Apink's "Petal" video lands at No. 9 on the international list, but didn't make the U.S. one. Meanwhile, "Sweet Girl" by boy band B1A4 (who toured America last year) charted on the American top 10, but missed out on the world one.

Lastly, VIXX's first sub-unit VIXX LR (made up of members Leo and Ravi) prove high interest all around, landing their debut music video for "Beautiful Liar" on both YouTube charts.
