YG Entertainment responds to the rumors of G-Dragon and Kiko breaking up

As fans know, rumors have been buzzing for a while that G-Dragon and his alleged girlfriend, Mizuhara Kiko, broke up. It all started with Kiko’s Instagram post that declared that she was “single”, and now it has escalated with Dispatch doing a bit of digging.

According to the media outlet, the two decided to part ways but remain friends. One source close to the couple apparently said, “The two are the type to put all their focus on their work. So with G-Dragon pouring most of his time into album preparations, the two drifted apart… Especially with BIGBANG going on world tour, their time together decreased even more.”

The source also emphasized that the two will most likely not get back together. “They had repeatedly broken up and got back together again in the past. But this time, they have decided not to use up any more of their emotions. They will not be getting back together.”

It’s kind of an awkward situation to ask an agency to confirm a breakup news for a relationship that was never publicly acknowledged, but media outlets asked anyways! And the response? “We never officially offered a response to the dating rumors between G-Dragon and Kiko. So regarding their breakup, we also have no comment,” a rep stated on behalf of YG Entertainment. That sass!
