BIGBANG arrives in Manila

K-pop boy band BIGBANG arrived in Manila today for their concert tonight at the Mall of Asia Arena.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Seungri and Daesung arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 past 11AM aboard Asiana Airlines flight OZ 701 from Incheon International Airport.

Fans gathered outside the airport arrival area to get a glimpse of BIGBANG. Some even went to the airport last night on reports that the idol group would be arriving a day earlier.

BIGBANG will be holding their 2015 MADE World Tour tonight starting at 8 p.m., which was launched last April in Seoul to promote their “MADE” album.

Since then the members have toured China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

The last time BIGBANG held a concert in the Philippines was in October 2012 for their “BIGBANG Alive Galaxy Tour.”

Tonight’s concert will feature a massive stage including a moving bridge. BIGBANG will perform their hit songs including those from their new album.

The 2015 MADE World Tour in Manila is organized by Pulp Live World and co-presented by Globe Telecom.

BIGBANG’s ‘MADE' Single Tracks Take 3 Spots In Top 5 Most Watched Music Videos In Korea In 2015

BIGBANG members are not only proving themselves to be the K-pop leaders with music charts but also with music videos as well.

According to YouTube on July 28, BIGBANG's "Loser," "Bae Bae," and "Bang Bang Bang" took 3 spots in the top 5 most watched K-pop music videos so far this year. The list was topped by "Loser" with 48.8 million views, followed by EXO's "Call Me Baby" (46.6 million views), "Bang Bang Bang" (39.1 million views), "Bae Bae" (34.5 million views), and 4minute's "Crazy" (27.6 million views).

BIGBANG began releasing "MADE" singles in May. First single "M" included tracks "Loser" and "Bae Bae." The tracks drew explosive responses from all around the world and signaled the king's return. The tracks also took over the music charts, and the group's success was continued by "A" and "D" singles' "Bang Bang Bang," "We Like 2 Party," "Sober," and "If You."

The group will release their last single "E" in early August. BIGBANG previously released their plan to release a subunit track by GD & T.O.P in "E" and intensified the fans' anticipation.

BIGBANG is currently on their world tour and will hold a concert in Phillippines on July 30.
