Many shifts have taken place for this week’s music chart!

PSY becomes the first male artist to hit No. 1 on the Soompi Music Chart this year. His latest hit “That That” featuring BTS’ Suga moves up 26 spots to take over as the new No. 1 song this week. The song won a close battle with last week’s top song “LOVE DIVE.” Congratulations to PSY!

“That That” is the title song from PSY’s ninth album, which is his first album in five years. This is a classic PSY-style dance track, and Suga participated in producing and featured in the song.

Last week’s champion, IVE’s “LOVE DIVE,” dropped one spot to No. 2 this week.

There are three more songs that newly entered the top 10 this week.

Debuting at No. 3 is rookie female group LE SSERAFIM’s “FEARLESS.” LE SSERAFIM is a new girl group from Source Music under HYBE Labels and includes Sakura and Kim Chaewon, former members of IZ*ONE. “FEARLESS” is an alternative pop song with a bold bass riff and a groovy rhythm. The lyrics express the group’s resolve to not dwell on the past but to fearlessly move towards the future.

Lim Young Woong’s “If we ever meet again,” the title track from his first full album “IM HERO,” debuts at No. 7. “If we ever meet again” is a heart-wrenching ballad written by veteran singer-songwriter Lee Juck and is a song that highlights Lim Young Woong’s warm and delicate voice.

While (G)I-DLE is still at No. 4 this week with “TOMBOY,” member Miyeon takes her first top 10 solo hit with “Drive,” which is up 13 spots to No. 8. “Drive” is a song with emotional guitar sounds. The lyrics capture Miyeon’s resolve as a solo artist and convey a message of support to those who protected themselves in the midst of difficulties.
