The cast of JTBC’s variety show “Let’s Eat Dinner Together” have headed to Vladivostok, Russia on April 2. Along with Lee Kyung Kyu and Kang Ho Dong, BIGBANG’s Seungri also joined the journey as a special guest.
Seungri has recently been showing off his great variety skills on shows including “I Live Alone,” “Radio Star,” “My Ugly Duckling,” and “Ask us Anything.” As he sets off to Russia, eyes are on whether he’ll be able to complete the challenge of getting invited in for dinner in another country.
Bang Hyun Young, the producing director for “Let’s Eat Dinner Together,” explained the significance of the show’s special episodes shot in Russia. “Korean people are living separated in several different countries for historical reasons and Russia is one of them,” she said. “I would like to meet them in person, listen to their stories, and cover their historical background as well.”
“Let’s Eat Dinner Together” special featuring Seungri is to air sometime in April.
