FuseTV, an American digital cable and satellite television channel dedicated to music, has released their staff picks for the 20 best songs of 2015. The list features a diverse range of genres, from hip-hop to country to pop-rock, and global heavy-hitters such as Adele, Rihanna, and Kanye West.
Standing at No. 16 on their list is BIGBANG’s “Loser,” released this past May. The FuseTV staff praise G-Dragon and T.O.P’s “honest” rapping and Daesung and Taeyang’s powerful vocals, asserting that the song “moves you regardless of whatever language you speak.” “Loser” is the only non-English track on the list.
“Loser,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and “Let’s Not Fall in Love,” all released by BIGBANG this summer as part of the MADE series, reached No. 1 on the Billboard World Digitals Songs chart. YouTube also recently revealed that the music videos for “Bang Bang Bang” and “Loser” were the most watched K-pop music videos of 2015.
A tour de force in both domestic K-pop and the international Hallyu wave, BIGBANG is currently in the middle of their “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour -2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN,” having performed concerts in Nagoya on December 5 and 6. They will be performing in Osaka at the Kyocera Dome in January.
