G-Dragon Understands Fans’ Frustrations About The Long Wait For BIGBANG’s New Album

G-Dragon acknowledged what many V.I.Ps felt when he talked about the long wait for their new album!

On December 13, BIGBANG met with reporters to discuss their third album “MADE.” G-Dragon laughed as he mentioned the eight year wait for the full album, saying, “Even I thought it was a bit much.” He added, “But it is not like we just rested for eight years. Within that time, we released solo albums, singles, and mini albums. We didn’t rest from promotions or tours. I do think it’s fate that we released it at this time.”

He continued, “And personally, in my opinion, we kept delaying the release until we produced an album that everyone could enjoy.”

BIGBANG finally released their long-awaited album “MADE” at midnight KST on December 13, featuring their hit singles from last year as well as two new title tracks, “LAST DANCE” and “FXXK IT,” as well as a brand new song, “GIRLFRIEND.”

Immediately after the release of the album, BIGBANG reigned on Korea’s music charts, with “FXXK IT” grabbing the top spot on all eight major charts: Melon, Mnet, Bugs, olleh, Soribada, Genie, Naver, and Monkey3 and “LAST DANCE” right behind in second place, followed by their track “GIRLFRIEND” in third on every chart.
