BIGBANG’s great sense of humor and wit full-blown in “Radio Star” show greatly raised its viewer ratings… To 9.7%

[스타뉴스=문완식 기자] MBC’s “Radio Star” show saw a great leap in its viewer ratings, thanks to guest BIGBANG’s great sense of humor and wit.

According to Nielson Korea, the company that surveys viewers ratings, on December 29, “Radio Star” aired on December 28 recorded 9.7% of nationwide daily viewer ratings of the day.

The rating was 2.0%p higher than 7.7% recorded by the last episode of the show aired on December 21.

In this week’s BIGBANG episode of “Radio Star” show, BIGBANG greatly entertained viewers with their outstanding sense of humor and wit. G-DRAGON gave witty answers to the MC’s questions about the rumors of his romantic relationship and breakup. SEUNGRI led the show like another MC. TAEYANG also wittily answered questions about his girlfriend Min Hyo-rin. T.O.P entertained viewers with his flagship serious attitude, too.

In the meantime, SBS’s comedy show “Laughter-Seeking People” and movie “The Great Tiger” aired on KBS 2TV at the same time with “Radio Star” recorded 2.9% and 2.2% of viewer ratings, respectively.

MBC’s “Radio Star” has enjoyed a jump in ratings thanks to BIGBANG.

According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea on December 29, the latest episode of “Radio Star” had nationwide viewership ratings of 9.7 percent.

This is 2.0 percent higher than the episode that aired on December 21.

The latest episode brought in big laughs as BIGBANG showcased their wit and talent. GDRAGON expertly handled rumors about his dating life while Seungri led the conversation like he was the MC of the show. Taeyang was witty when answering questions about his public relationship with Min Hyo Rin, and T.O.P kept the atmosphere bright with his humor.

In the same time slot, SBS’s “People Looking for a Laugh” scored ratings of 2.9 percent while KBS 2TV’s end-of-the-year movie screening of “The Tiger” came in at 2.2 percent.
